How do I burn my candle safely?
Always place your candle on a heat-safe surface, away from drafts and anything flammable. We offer a variety of handmade candle drip plates for our votives, pillars and sculptural candles!

Keep the wick trimmed to ¼ inch before each burn, and never leave a burning candle unattended.

How long should my first burn be?
Let your first burn last 2–3 hours, or until the melted wax reaches the edges of the vessel. This helps prevent tunneling and ensures an even burn every time.

Why is my candle tunneling or burning unevenly?
This can happen if the first burn was too short or if the wick isn’t trimmed evenly. Don’t worry — you can fix it by burning the candle longer next time, or using a foil “tent” to gently melt the edges back down.

Can I reuse or recycle the jar after my candle is finished?
Yes! That’s exactly what our refill system is for. Simply clean out any leftover wax and insert a fresh refill. Each jar is designed to be used again and again.

How does the refill system work?
Choose a handmade vessel you love and pair it with your favorite scent. When your candle is finished, pop in a new wax refill insert — no waste, no mess, no need to buy another jar.

What’s included with my first purchase?
Your first candle comes with both the reusable vessel and one scented wax refill. Future refills can be purchased individually or through our subscription service.

How do I insert the refill into my reusable jar?
Make sure your jar is clean and dry. Simply drop the refill in, light the wick, and enjoy. No glue or fuss required — the fit is intentionally snug.

Can I mix and match jars and scents?
Absolutely. Every refill is designed to fit our standard jar sizes, so you can change scents or swap jars anytime.

How often will refills ship if I subscribe?
You can choose your frequency — typically every 4, 6, or 8 weeks. You can skip, pause, or adjust your plan anytime.

Do the refills fit all jar styles?
Yes. All refill inserts are made to fit our current 9oz Forever Jar candle vessels. If you own a season style (pumpkin, ghost), you can select those in the Refill listing, as those styles vary.

What are your jars made of?
Each refillable vessel is handcrafted from Eco-Resin— a sustainable mineral based substance known for its smooth stone texture and durability. Each jar is sealed with non-toxic, environmentally friendly heat, water and stain resistance sealant and hand-painted with candle-safe paints.

Are your products eco-friendly or sustainable?
Yes. Every candle is designed to minimize waste through our refillable system, reusable packaging, and small-batch, low-impact production methods.

Why might there be slight variations in color or texture?
Each piece is mixed, poured, and finished by hand, making every jar one-of-a-kind. Variations in tone or pattern are part of the charm.

Do you use essential oils or fragrance oils?
We use exclusively high-quality & pure essential oils.

Orders, Shipping & Returns

How long will it take to ship my order?
Orders usually ship within 3–5 business days. Each piece is made and packed with care, so small delays can happen during busy seasons.

Do you offer local pickup or delivery?
Yes — if you’re in the Atlanta area, local pickup is available at checkout.

What should I do if my candle arrives damaged?
We’re so sorry! Please email us a photo within 48 hours, and we’ll replace or refund your item right away.

Do you accept returns or exchanges?
Due to the handmade and consumable nature of our products, we don’t accept returns. But if something isn’t right, please reach out — we’ll make it right. Please visit the Scent Library for descriptions of all essential oil blends.

Scent & Product Questions

How strong are your scents?
Our candles are NOT scent bombs. We aim for a balanced scent that’s never overwhelming — clean, and noticeable but not headache-producing!

Do you offer unscented options?
Yes, unscented wax inserts are available for a minimalist glow. Most of our sculptural candles are unscented as are our beeswax candles.

What size candle should I choose for my space?
Our refill size works best for small to medium rooms. For larger spaces, try grouping two candles.

Will you restock seasonal or retired scents?
Some do return seasonally!

Sustainability & Impact

How do refillable candles reduce waste?
By keeping your vessel and replacing only the wax, you eliminate single-use containers entirely — one jar can last for years.

What packaging materials do you use?
We ship using recyclable paper, cardboard, and compostable packing materials — no plastic bubbles here.

How do I responsibly dispose of old refills or jars?
Our soy wax and cotton wicks are biodegradable. If your jar ever breaks or you choose to retire it, Eco-Resin can be crushed and returned to the earth — or repurposed as decor.
